Bored today. I won't be over the weekend though. Gonna see some friends then on monday I'm going to a job interview. Fingers crossed for that. Anyway, here's a crappy journal meme that I made for no reason.

Pick five things that annoy you about the internet and talk about them. No tagging required.

1)Harassment: I'm sick and tired of people spamming others with hateful messages, emails, ect. It's never called for and the reason why its done is always over something small and unimportant. "OMG, you didn't reply to me in ten seconds flat! You must pay you horrible person!" Yeah, yeah, you can baaaw about it all you want in journals or on social sites or to your family if you are that sad. Just don't make a fool of yourself by leaving hate messages telling a person they are "so horrible" when you are the one spewing vulgar things. Also most cases of internet harassment are not caused by trolls. I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. Attention whores are the most likley suspects. I know some people say that attention whores and trolls are the same, but there is a difference. Trolls seek negative attention. Attention whores seek positive attention. So I don't like harassment on the net. It's pathetic and never called for.

2)Attention whores: Saw this coming didn't you? Now don't get me wrong. We all crave for attention now and then. Its human nature. But some people make a freaking career out of it. "Baaaaw, subway were out of meatballs today! I hate you all! My life sucks!" I think this topic speaks for itself really. I hardly see a jounral about something worth crying over. Like, losing a dream job, getting kicked out your home or a family or friend dying. I also don't like direct attention whores who message you all the freaking time and if you miss replying to just one message, or don't reply fast enough, guess what? You are a horrible selfish person who should die. Oh gee, I'm sorry. I didn't know my life was to serve your pathetic needs. Bleh.

3)Forums: It is true, I don't like forums. I find them boring sometimes and its a breeding ground for tards and pervs. A forum is not a good place to meet people either. A social network might be a better place to start for newbies. I also hate seeing hundreds of threads with the same damn topic. There are already thousands of threads on that topic, what makes you think we need another?

4)Dating sites: Now don't get me wrong, I'm not against people who meet their lover online (I've been there myself) I'm talking about bullshit dating sites, their bullshit ads and them charging you money to find your match. I've had a couple of friends try this and they said it was a waste of time. You are better off on social networks like facebook or myspace or even here if you were desperate. Don't sign up to any dating sites that want money. It could be a scam and always read the small text. And besides, people find love when they stop looking.

5)Youtube: This site has gone down the drain majorly. Now they can pull your videos down even if no copywright law was broken. If somebody says they just don't like it, it goes down. Just like that. Also, muting videos is totally pointless. You may aswell just take the video down if it was a music video or a rant. The ads are annoying too. I know thats how youtube make their money, but some of the ads they have are disturbing. Youtube is watched by people young and old so try and keep your ads family friendly for goodness sake...
