Contest decided

Mon Oct 5, 2009, 6:29 AM
I've decided to host not one, but two contests. The colouring contest and the Sheepsona contest. Details on both contests with come soon.

Speaking of contests, anybody know of any good contests recently? Any theme as long as its a drawing contest I'll give a shot. Also any contests involving a sub as a prize would be cool.

Possible contest ideas

Wed Sep 30, 2009, 6:26 AM
Thinking of doing a contest, but have no idea what the theme should be. I have a couple of ideas:

1)Doomfluff
Simple contest, just draw Doomfluff. For those of you who feel that you can't draw his adult self, you have the option of drawing his skinny teenage self. And for those of you who can't draw anthros I might throw in an option to draw him as a human. The contest idea is really about your take on Doomfluff in your own style.

2)Sheepsona
I like sheep. I bet you didn't know that. This contest idea is to draw yourself or one of your characters as a sheep. Anthro or regular sheep forms welcome.

3)Colouring contest
Because not everyone wants to draw. I have two characters drawn up, but they need a colour scheme that works. You can colour one or both.

4)What now?
In this contest idea I describe a senario with one of my characters and you must draw or write about what happens next. Simple.

Let me know which idea you like the sound of the most.

Ground zero at my house

Sun Sep 27, 2009, 6:26 AM
Everything is a freaking mess. We're finally getting the kitchen finished, so bits and bobs had to be moved into other rooms.

...

The fridge is in the sitting room. I'm tempted to eat the entire contents.

Going out on monday or tuesday, depending on how I feel and the weather. Handing in more CVs and hopefully will get that game for Cary. Gran might tag along, which would be great so I don't look like an unpopular loser wandering on her tod.

I have a crapload of stuff to colour but I can't be bothered, lol. Most of it is South Park fanart though. I just discovered that I love the goth kids.

Er, I think that's it, lol. See ya.

Preparing for Xmas

Fri Sep 25, 2009, 7:28 AM
I know some of you think it's a tad early to prepare for Christmas, but Istill have no job and I always like to get things out of the way. So you know what that means right? Commission price list revamp! I can't really lower my prices anymore otherwise it won't be worth doing them. So I'm going to come up with some more options. I already offer bust, full character and group picture commissions. If anyone has any ideas for other things I can draw, let me know.

I'm pondering on doing christmas card trades this year since I didn't do them last year. But, I'm going to make the number of slots small this time.

I was out today on a mission to hand in more CVs. While I was there I stopped by a few second hand game stores to look for a copy of Final Fantasy X2 for *Steel-Girl because she's been hunting for it with no results. I found loads of copies. The cheapest was £10. I didn't buy any though. The only cash I had on me was spent on my bus fair, so today I was just making sure there were copies available.

I bought a South Park plush on ebay. Yes, I know I should be saving up my money, nag, nag, nag, but I couldn't help myself. I got it on a buy now thing because the last plush I tried to get ended in a mass bid war (I didn't get it) and I just don't feel like going through that crap. Neway, this plush is in great condition even though it's preowned. It looks brand new although the tag is missing. Somebody loved and looked after this thing very well, so Ima do the same. I don't know, but buying preowned stuff feels better than buying sparkly new stuff to me. Anybody else feel that way? Lol. Oh, btw, its a Kyle plush. There were bigger ones, but they had creepy rape faces.

I think that's all I gotta say. See ya.

I don't know

Mon Sep 21, 2009, 8:12 AM
Gah, I've been ill all day. I had to cancel some plans today too. I didn't get out of bed until 2pm. I'm not joking, I felt that bad. I'm a bit better now, got most of it out of my system. I got a call from a possible employer about my CV. That's the first response I've had... ever. I think I answered most of her questions ok. She gave me some random dates and asked if I could work on those dates. I can't remember what they were and my brain was going "oh fuck" from the pounding headache I have. I said yes for the time being but said I'll let her know if anything does come up. She wanted to know why I couldn't work sundays. I just said family time. Which is part true. I also would like a day off for some me time. I'm only human. So fingeres crossed on that.

I'm gonna not bother with OCBC4 anymore. I lost round one and although the theme for redemption sounds like fun, I'm not up to doing an entry. I haven't started it and the deadline is close. I have better things to do anyway. At least I got to draw Doomfluff a bit more. The story is non-cannon so there's no point finishing it. If another tourney comes up when I have the time and dedication, I might enter Doomfluff again.

What else was I gonna say? Oh yeah, ebay's new layout sucks. I also don't like the random changes in layout here either. Looks a tad messy.

That is all.
