Sorry for not being around much. Main reason is the god damn router not working for the past couple of days. Don't know what the cause is, but oh well.

Been recording some lines for a video I've been meaning to do for some time. Man, my voice acting used to be way better than the crap I recorded today. Guess that happens when you don't practice. Oh well, I'll get my spark back, I know I will. Speaking of voices, keep an eye out for a journal with a deadline for auditions. I only have one person send me their lines so far and although this person is just who I've been looking for, I like to give the other people interested a chance. It's only fair right? So keep an eye out for that.

As for our builder problem, the guy who got us in this sorry mess came on friday to apologise and made yet another promise to repair the roof. Guess what, it has been dry sunday and today and he's not here. Big suprise. Mum and I have been able to claim back some money through insurance and other things, so we almost have all the funds we need in case the roof goes. We only need about £100 to make up our losses and I intend to get that... so as much as I hate to beg, I needs commission offers. Stay tuned for a journal on a new twist on my commmission prices... you'll see. Heh.

Also, I has Twitter now. I know, how sad of me. But I kinda like it. it's simple and isn't full of pointless appa and crap like facebook. Anyone on Twitter?

And finally my Sheepsona contest. Remember that? Lol, I thought not. Well the deadline has way passed and only one person entered, so they win by default. That be *Yami-Loni yus. And no I never intented to extend the deadline. I'm sorry, but peeps have had plenty of time to do their entry. So Loni, note me about what you want. Remember, you get a picture with up to 5 characters and a doodle of your Sheepsona. Oh, and a... suprise... heh.

First off, the situation with the kitchen roof. It is still pretty bad, I've done a couple of commissions on other sites (I still need more offers) and have already made £80 that is going towards the repair job (by somebody else of course). Well the slightly better news is that the builder who caused this mess in the first place might see his mug on the TV. I emailed my local news reporters and they sent a reply saying they might get in touch for more details. I did say I wasn't going to let him get away with it. However, the media can change their minds, so this might go nowhere, but at least I've shown myself that I have the balls to take on bullshit.

Now onto the main reason I'm typing this journal up. I needs a voice actor! I need a male voice actor to do the voice of a character that will pop up in a little project I'm doing. The video is done in still frames (it's a cartoon, but it's not animated, sort of like a storyboard) so I need a decent actor that can help bring this character to life. The voice has to be deep and god-like (maybe throw is a mild echo effect to make him sound powerful). I don't have any voice modification programs installed, so if you can moidfy your voice to fit the part, then that's cool.

Here's a bit more info on the role and what else I need:

~You must be available as often as possible. This project is done in episodes so I don't have all the lines for future videos because it is an ongoing project (I've already written three episodes so far).
~The character is a god-like being who speaks with a powerful tone.
~You must have some experience in voice acting and a decent mic to record your voice.
~The character often sounds serious, but will sometimes put on silly voices in comedic parts of the episodes.

And that's it I think. I don't expect anyone to voice act for nothing though. I can't pay in cash, but I can pay in drawings if you want. If you just plan on getting the job for free and for fun, that's cool too. You'll be mentioned in the credits of each video this character is in and there is a chance you might get asked to voice in other people's videos.

For those of you who live in the UK, you will all know of the terrible rain we've been getting for weeks now. I'm lucky to be living on higher ground, but that doesn't mean disaster can't strike. I'll not beat about the bush with this one.

The kitchen roof is close to caving in.

I'm not shitting you. We've had the damp patch on the ceiling that has put us off decorating. So mum got this guy to fix the roof. Guess what, after he left, the damp patch came back bigger than ever. So mum called him up and asked him to look at it again. I'mj suprised he came back at all. She did pay him and most builders usually scat if a customer calls them back to see to their shoddy work. He came back and I swear he was on that roof for a few seconds then he left after telling me the problem is now fixed. Hey, guess what?

It's fucking worse than before.

Not only is the old damp patch bigger, but we have damp patches around the kitchen light fitting. So now we can't switch the light on out of fear of it explodinhg or something like that. My gran thinks that he's moved some of the tiles on purpose, hoping he'd get more work anf get paid for it. My mum says if that is the case, he can forget getting any more money. He either fixes this mess or his ass is going to court. Apparently, he's botched up other jobs before. The worst I've heard of is a woman has half a wall missing on her house. I'm not joking.

How is this guy allowed to do this? Why has nobody taken him to court? His name is everywhere. Ads in the paper, billboards, his company van driving through the area. How can he have the gaul to show up everywhere with a smile on his face when he's fucked up so many people's homes? If he cocks up again, I'm going to go all John Christian on his ass (my dad would never stand for this).

So now my mother says there is a high possibility that he'll vanish for a while (apparently he's done that before) so we'll have to get somebody else in the fix the problem. Sadly neither of us can afford it. Over £3,000 of work has been done to the house this year. And for my mum that is alot of money for the measly amount she gets paid at work. She's really upset. The fridge is still in the living room and there is no way anything will be done before christmas. I feel totally useless here, because I can't do anything to help the situation. I want to help, but lack of a job holds me back.

I'm not sure how much it'll cost to fix the kitchen roof properly. If I can make about £300 then that might cover half of it. I hate to sound desperate, but I have no choice due to the kitchen roof close to caving in. Commissions are still open, see my previous journal for prices. I'm also checking the forums for job offers, but so far nothing.

I don't know what to do. I really don't. All I can ask is if you can help, need it be buying a commission, spreading the word or giving advice, please do. If the kitchen roof goes, the damage will spread throughout the house. And I highly doubt that the insurance will pay out.

Five times I've had to re-write this journal because DA keeps failing to load. I'm not gonna bother typing up what I wrote before. Long story short, I haven't bought many pressies for my family/friends and I need teh money. Getting a xmas job have gone balls up so I needs halp! Here's what I have on offer:

I will not draw: nudity, sexual stuff, hardcore fetish material, cars/planes/boats, complex backgrounds, hate art and anime style.

I can draw: Humans, furries/anthros, animals, robots, mild fetish stuff (AND ONLY mild), violence/gore (I might not if I feel I can't pull it off), yaoi/yuri (but keep it mild, no hardcore stuff).

Send me a note to this account (because I'll be more ative here for a while) and I'll send the finished commission by email.

My weekend xmas shopping spree was a disaster. I could not find anything I wanted for anybody... and most shops were stocked up to the roof. It wasn't busy either. What is going on?!

The only thing I bought was a comic book from Forbidden Planet. It was a last moment buy before getting on the coach back home. My god... it was awful. Ok, not totally bad, but still kinda bleh. It was about Marvel super heros (X-men, Spiderman, ect) becoming zombies that could talk and hunted down uninfected people to eat. Loads of bad gore puns too. Then for some odd reason and alternate universe where the super heros are apes (I'm not shitting you) get involved... somehow. It's... just... gah, you would have to read it for yourself. On the upside, Spidermonkey (Spiderman's ape conterpart) is freaking cute.
